In any parallelogram, the diagonals (lines linking opposite corners) bisect each other. That is, each diagonal cuts the other into two equal parts.
What diagonals do not bisect each other?
Diagonals do not bisect each other in a trapezium.
- The bases of the trapezium are parallel to each other.
- No sides, angles and diagonals are congruent.
- therefore the diadonals do not bisect each other in a trapesium.
