Barry created a time remnant to help stop Zoom, in doing so the time remnant ran so fast he burned up. Later in season 3 we are explained that future Barry creates a bunch of time remnants to help stop Savitar. One of those remnants could have been the one that burned up while helping Barry stop Zoom.
